The original Tri-ang designed motor X.01 mounted in a "Plunger" Princess Locomotive.

This X.02 motor was the same as the X.01 but with a 'normal' pair of carbon brushes

The rear bolt does not pass through the magnet unlike the later versions. Note there are two types of packing pieces shown at the base of the bolt.
